Sales Engineer (Mechanical Power Transmission)

Location: Qatar
Years of Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Working Arrangement: on-site.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English (written and spoken).

We are seeking a technically strong Sales Engineer to support business growth in the Oil & Gas sector. The role focuses on promoting and selling power transmission solutions (ex: gearboxes, couplings, and other rotating equipment), by combining engineering expertise with commercial execution. The Sales Engineer will manage the full sales cycle, from opportunity development to technical support and order closure.

Key Requirements

• 2–4 years of sales experience within the Oil & Gas sector

• Strong technical understanding of industrial products and solutions

• Proven experience selling or supporting Power Transmission products (gearboxes, couplings, and other rotating equipment)

• Experience preparing technical submittals, datasheets, and quotations

• Experience managing accounts and sales pipelines

Other Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts/projects

• Commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset

• Good time management and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage sales opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector

• Promote and sell power transmission products and solutions

• Provide technical advice and application support to customers

• Prepare and submit quotations, technical offers, and commercial proposals

• Follow up with clients to progress opportunities and close sales

• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders

• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
