ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Responsible to meet and exceed assigned sales targets to meet organisational strategic objectives
  2. Manage and handle the per-qualification requirement to secure that AIC products/ system are approved by Consultants , Authorities , Ministries …etc
  3. Manage and handle a regular follow up to customers /Consultants technical requirement for existing and new requirement or/ and new development expected in perspective as of MV/LV.
  4. Manage and build technical evaluation process for tenders and technical requirement of large Projects mixed sectors MV/LV (Primary and secondary) .
  5. Manage and develop when require and secure approval at Consultants , Authorities the offer within company portfolio, MV/LV Switch gear, RMU, A/C regulator , Power factor corrector..etc through EPC/ Sub-contractors on vendor list .
  6. Scrutiny of tenders ready for tendering or/and awarded to EPC / Sub/contractors to determine that they are within Mains MV and LV offer and control scope of supply
  7. Identify the products and quantities for the bill of material. Evaluate specifications to determine if we can comply
  8. Liaison with factories for inquiries that cannot be satisfied with standard catalogue items and help select/identify special adaptations of products to meet customer needs
  9. Liaison with the customers / AIC sisters companies / Authorities to resolve discrepancies with regard to technical or contractual requirements
  10. Preparation of a complete and comprehensive offer with any exceptions or special considerations clearly stated in line with the customer due date
  11. Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers and Segments leaders resulting in excellent per and post-sales service to customers
  12. Assist coordination of delivery schedules with parameters given by production and through the relevant Customer service team
  13. Regular liaison with customers to pursue potential orders
  14. Accurate record keeping / sales office administration.


SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • 5-7 years’ experience within a large sales organisation – preferably within power and Energy sector .
  • Able to demonstrate a high degree of product application knowledge to the sales and customer service functions
  • Good communication skills internal and external, able to deal with colleagues and customers at all levels in a multi-cultural environment
  • Computer literate, hands on experience of SAP, Oracle or similar system
  • Strong organisational skills; able to manage priorities and schedule activities with minimal supervision to meet a number of competing deadlines
  • Focused and analytical, with a keen eye for detail
