Reports To:
The Sales Engineer will report to Sales Manager.
Job Overview:
The Sales Engineer will drive revenue growth by promoting and selling heat exchangers, filtration systems and related HVAC products to industrial, commercial, and institutional clients. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to understand customer needs, propose tailored solutions, and close deals while maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Sales & Business Development:

Promote and sell Plate Heat Exchangers to MEP contractors, consultants, and end-users across the UAE.

Develop and manage a sales pipeline, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations to consultants and clients, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
-
Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely project execution and customer satisfaction.

Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth in the UAE market.

Technical Consultation & Solution Selling:
-
Demonstrate strong technical knowledge, establish/maintain healthy business network with MEP contractors and consultants

Conduct technical discussions with clients to assess cooling requirements, energy efficiency goals, and space constraints.

Prepare and present customized proposals, including system sizing, performance data, and cost-benefit analysis.

Collaborate with application engineers to ensure accurate technical specifications and competitive pricing.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers (engineers, facility managers, contractors).

Provide post-sale support (e.g., installation guidance, troubleshooting) to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Address complaints or technical issues promptly, coordinating with internal teams for resolution.

Market Intelligence & Strategy:

Maintain updated market intelligence on competitors, projects, and upcoming opportunities.

Provide feedback to suppliers and management on market demands and product gaps.

Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and technical seminars.

Coordination & Documentation:

Liaise with suppliers, logistics teams, and project managers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with order specs.

Maintain CRM records for sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunity tracking.
Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related field.

Experience:
-
2+ years in technical sales, preferably in plate heat exchangers, HVAC, or industrial equipment.

Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in B2B environments.

Technical Skills:
-
Strong knowledge of HVAC & MEP systems, particularly in dealing with MEP contractors and consultants.

Knowledge of international standards (AHRI, WRAS, NSF61).

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
-
Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
