Sales Engineer – Welding Electrodes

Location: Delhi/Gurgaon, India
Company: Rathi Welding (Rathi Group)
Department: Sales & Marketing
Experience: 3–6 years (Welding / Industrial Sales)
Qualification: Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical, Metallurgy, or Welding, preferably with a strong science background.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets in the assigned territory.
  • Expand dealer/distributor network and onboard new industrial customers.
  • Drive business growth in key electrode categories (MS 6013, MS 7018, MIG, SS, Hardfacing electrodes).

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build long-term partnerships with dealers and end-users.
  • Conduct product demos, trials, and application support.
  • Handle customer complaints in coordination with technical & quality teams.

Technical Support & Training

  • Advise customers on electrode selection, storage, and usage.
  • Conduct training sessions for welders, dealers, and distributors.
  • Provide technical solutions for welding challenges in industries.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track competitor products, pricing, and new launches.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market insights.
  • Identify opportunities in fabrication and heavy industries.

Marketing & Promotion

  • Support product launches, dealer meets, exhibitions, and seminars.
  • Strengthen Rathi Welding brand through effective communication & technical engagement.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to travel extensively.
