About the Role


We are currently hiring a Sales and Events Manager. This is responsible for leading the sales strategy, managing the sales team, driving revenue growth, and ensuring a consistently high standard of customer experience across the venue.


Responsibilities


  • Proactively find opportunities and leads for business growth by creating and maintaining a customer database.
  • Understand client needs and provide a proposal which best suits their requirements.
  • Achieve personal sales targets by converting leads into business opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively and work closely with all concerned operations departments.
  • Attentively handle guest complaints and provide mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
  • Regularly run reports, manage and update the database within Salesforce, and keep financial records in accordance with the company policy.
  • Work collaboratively with the Group Director of Sales.
  • Continually assess marketing techniques and their efficacy in affecting sales.
  • Stay up-to-date on current market trends.
  • Lead the promotion of venue packages, memberships, and special experiences to maximize revenue.
  • Recruit, train, and lead the sales team, fostering a high-performance, guest-focused culture.
  • Use guest feedback and market insights to improve service offerings and customer satisfaction.
  • Align sales initiatives with seasonal trends, local market dynamics, and promotional calendars to maximize business opportunities.
  • Perform other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within Dubai, with strong existing relationships to drive business growth and customer acquisition.

  • Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
  • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, CRM systems).
  • Confident and dynamic personality.
  • Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • The ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate with external vendors and service providers.
  • Strong relationships with Dubai-based tourism companies.
