Sales Executive – Large Format Printing
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in printing, advertising, or related fields. Proven track record of meeting sales targets in the UAE market is required. Industry knowledge of printing processes and products is highly desirable.
- Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a must. The candidate should be highly motivated, target-driven, and adept at building client relationships. We seek “hunter” mentality salespeople who can prospect new business (via cold calls, visits, networking) and also manage key accounts to foster repeat business. Strong presentation skills to pitch our services and the ability to understand client needs and propose suitable solutions (print materials, media choices) are important. Basic knowledge of design files and print specifications is a plus (so they can discuss technical requirements with clients confidently).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field is preferred. However, practical sales experience and a client network in the advertising/events sector will outweigh formal education.
- UAE Driving License: Required, as the role involves frequent client meetings across the UAE (travel to client offices, event sites, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and reach out to prospective clients in target segments (agencies, event organizers, retailers, etc.). This includes cold-calling, emailing, and door-to-door visits to introduce our company. Research and map out potential customers and maintain a pipeline of leads.
- Client Meetings & Presentations: Meet clients to understand their advertising/printing needs, present our product offerings, and persuade them to work with us. Use solid sales arguments and needs analysis to show how our printing solutions meet their requirements. Provide samples or portfolios of our print quality during meetings.
- Quotations and Sales Closures: Prepare detailed quotations for print jobs (with help from the production team for costing). Follow up aggressively on quotes to close deals. Negotiate pricing and terms within guidelines (our flexible pricing allows some negotiation to win big orders). Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes on schedule. Each salesperson will have a quarterly sales target aligned with our revenue goals.
- Account Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers for long-term business. Act as the liaison between the client and our production team – manage client expectations on timelines, gather print file requirements, and ensure orders are executed smoothly. Handle customer issues or complaints quickly to maximize satisfaction. Happy clients will lead to repeat orders and referrals.
- Market Feedback: Keep management informed of market developments – e.g. what competitors are offering, client feedback on pricing, new demand trends. Sales staff should report on customer needs and potential opportunities for new services (for instance, if many clients ask for installation services, we might consider partnering with an installer).
Reporting: Maintain a sales funnel report and status of leads. Provide weekly updates on activities and monthly sales forecasts so we can align production and financial planning
