Job purpose: Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sales Executive with expertise to drive sales and market penetration of both chemical fertilizers and biofertilizers by managing dealer/distributor networks, engaging farmers and Agri-Retailers and ensuring compliance with government schemes and regulatory frameworks.
This role is based in Dubai and requires a candidate with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience, preferably within the GCC region.
Key Responsibilities include:
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for fertilizers and biofertilizers.
- Identify and onboard new dealers, distributors, and Agri-input retailers.
- Conduct field visits to promote products, gather market intelligence, and resolve customer issues.
- Organize farmer meetings, field demonstrations, and promotional campaigns for both product categories.
Biofertilizer Promotion & Education
- Educate farmers and retailers on the benefits, application methods, and storage requirements of biofertilizers.
- Promote sustainable agriculture practices through biofertilizer adoption.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure product efficacy and field support.
Government Liaison & Compliance
- Stay updated on government fertilizer and biofertilizer subsidy schemes, DBT policies, and distribution norms.
- Liaise with agricultural departments and regulatory bodies for permits, documentation, and compliance.
- Ensure accurate reporting for subsidy claims, product registration, and audit requirements.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, territory performance reports, and customer feedback to the Marketing Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, collections, and inventory at distributor points.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with farmers, cooperatives, Agri-dealers, and government officials.
- Address product-related queries and ensure timely resolution.
- Promote integrated nutrient management and responsible product usage.
