Job Title: Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding

Location: Dubai-UAE

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sales Executive with strong knowledge of freight forwarding, air freight operations and storage services.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge of the Dubai Free Zone sector (DAFZA, DWC, JAFZA, etc.), along with expertise in import/export procedures, DG shipments and market pricing within the UAE logistics industry.

Candidates with experience in Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA) operations will be given top priority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients in freight forwarding, logistics and warehousing sectors.
  • Promote and sell air freight, customs clearance and storage solutions to local and international customers.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Handle client inquiries, prepare customized quotations and proposals and negotiate rates with airlines and agents to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Coordinate closely with the operations and documentation teams to ensure smooth booking, cargo handling and delivery processes.
  • Manage and follow up on shipments from pickup to final delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage.
  • Advise clients on import/export procedures, customs documentation and Free Zone regulations (DAFZA, DWC, JAFZA, etc.).
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airlines’ schedules, cargo space availability, DG cargo restrictions and transit requirements.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing and new business opportunities to enhance company presence and profitability.
  • Conduct regular client visits to strengthen relationships and identify business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams for storage, inventory management and cargo movement within Free Zones.
  • Prepare regular sales activity reports, market feedback and sales forecasts for management review.
  • Support management in developing new business strategies and service offerings aligned with market demand.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2–4 years of UAE experience in freight forwarding sales.
  • Experience in Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA) is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, customs handling and international shipping regulations.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and client-focused.
  • Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
  • Proven ability to meet monthly sales targets and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Language- English, Arabic ect.
