TIME Ruby Hotel Apartments is currently looking for energetic and passionate candidates for an Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate, preferably with previous experience in a similar role in reputed hospitality organizations and the ability to fulfil the following core responsibilities.
1. Sales Activities & Revenue Generation
- Generate and maintain customers of defined accounts/areas through sales activities, such as face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls, and entertainment.
- Solicit and serve transient and group business & meetings.
- Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set.
- Ensure selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize upselling opportunities whenever possible.
- Promote and produce sales leads for other TIME Hotels outside of the coverage area.
- Arrange site inspections of the hotel.
- Attend all pre- and post-conference meetings as required.
2. Administration & Communication
- Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales, telephone, fax, and written communications.
- Formulate corporate offer letters and yearly contracts and any other required business correspondence.
- Ensure that the response to any business request is actioned within 24 hours.
- Provide feedback to the Area Director of Sales & Marketing/Area Director of Sales/Senior Sales Managers/Sales Managers on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition.
- Disseminate sales-related information to other departments as appropriate.
- Follow up with the Events Management Team after the post-event meeting with Thank You calls and send Thank You Letters.
- Handle incoming calls and ensure messages are taken and details are forwarded to the person/s concerned.
- Maintain an up-to-date account and contact database and details in the property management system.
3. Compliance & General Duties
- Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the properties’ unique selling points, features, amenities, services, and policies.
- Ensure that Layia Hotels Sales & Marketing Policies and Standard Operational Procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Adhere to Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, staff, and employees.
- Maintain professional business confidentiality.
- Comply with any reasonable request made by management to the best of your ability.
- Ensure that the standards required by Law and by Management are maintained at all times in the areas specified above.
