Role Overview
The Student Advisor will serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and current students, providing guidance on programme selection, admissions processes, and academic pathways. The role requires a proactive, student-focused professional who can effectively communicate the value of MSBM’s programmes while supporting students from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective students via phone, email, and digital platforms to understand their educational and career objectives
- Provide detailed information on MSBM programmes, entry requirements, and progression pathways
- Guide applicants through the admissions process, ensuring timely submission of required documentation
- Maintain consistent follow-up with leads to support conversion from enquiry to enrolment
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective students using CRM systems
- Advise students on suitable programme options aligned with their career goals and prior qualifications
- Collaborate with internal teams (admissions, marketing, academic services) to ensure a seamless student experience
- Support student onboarding processes and provide ongoing advisory support where required
- Meet individual and team enrolment targets and KPIs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all student interactions
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in student recruitment, admissions, sales, or customer advisory roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse, international student base
- Target-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with CRM systems and digital communication tools
Desirable Skills
- Experience within higher education or EdTech environments
- Knowledge of international education systems and qualification frameworks
- Multilingual capability
