The Sales Executive – Air Freight is responsible for strategically cultivating, managing, and expanding key client relationships across both export and import of air freight operations to and from the UAE and international markets with a strong working knowledge of CALOGI operations. The role requires a minimum of three years of UAE-based experience, with a proven track record in growing client portfolios through continuous engagement, effective airline rate negotiation and sourcing, and the implementation of structured market-development initiatives. Additionally, the position entails close collaboration with cross-functional teams including marketing and social media to enhance brand visibility, strengthen the company’s competitive positioning, and drive sustainable, long-term business growth.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct continuous outreach and in-person visits to prospective clients to promote the company’s air-cargo capabilities and secure new business opportunities.
  • Actively collaborate with airlines and consolidators to source competitive air-freight rates and secure space allocations
  • Prepare and deliver tailored air freight solutions ranging from door-to-door to airport-to-airport services that align with client requirements.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Cannata Worldwide Cargo Services within the air-freight sector, representing the company’s values, enhancing market presence, strengthening client trust and engagement
  • Promote heavy-truck transportation offerings for GCC and Middle East cross-border movements to further expand the company’s regional logistics portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and social media team to develop promotional campaigns targeted at the global market.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of air freight industry trends, CALOGI Operation, airline schedules, transit times and routing options to support informed decision-making and client advisory.
  • Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless shipment execution and superior service delivery.
  • Retain the updated records in the CRM system with all leads, client interactions, and sales activities to maintain accurate and actionable records.
  • Responsibility for achieving monthly net-profit-based sales targets in alignment with the company’s commercial objectives.
  • Report directly to the Sales Manager or designated company personnel, providing daily and weekly updates on sales performance, including detailed pipeline status and progress metrics.
  • Accountable for accurate communication, quotations, follow-ups and timely client updates.
  • Drive customer retention by providing consistent after-sales support, systematically tracking client satisfaction, proactively addressing needs to cultivate and sustain long-term, strategic relationships.
  • Authorized to negotiate client rates within the company’s approved commercial margins, ensuring both competitive pricing and adherence to profitability guidelines
  • Empowered to request competitive pricing from airline partners and recommend pricing strategies to management.
  • Able to initiate and coordinate collaborative marketing campaigns with the marketing team, strategically targeting diverse regional markets to enhance brand visibility and drive business growth.
  • Represent the company with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all business interactions, reinforcing trust, credibility and the organization’s reputation
  • Enhance the company’s reputation for reliability, transparency, exceptional customer service, consistently delivering value and fostering client confidence

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in air-freight forwarding sales within the UAE market, with a proven emphasis on global market development and the cultivation of international client relationships.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of air freight processes, CALOGI operations, airline pricing structures, and all related documentation requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and freight forwarding platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate with creative teams on marketing and digital engagement strategies.
  • Fluent in English; French or Arabic is an added advantage.
  • UAE driving license preferred.
