We are a well-established retailer/dealer specialising in home and kitchen appliances in Taliparamba. We carry major brands and provide sales, installation and after-sales service. We are looking for an energetic Sales Executive who can join our team and help drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets for appliances (refrigerators, washing machines, air-conditioners, microwaves, etc.).
  • Greet and engage customers in the showroom, understand their needs and recommend appropriate appliances.
  • Provide product demonstrations (features, benefits, energy-efficiency, installation requirements) and guide customers through the purchase process.
  • Upsell accessories, extended warranties, service plans and installation services.
  • Maintain showroom presentation: keep display units clean, properly labelled, and ensure products are well-stocked and arranged.
  • Follow up with customers (phone/visit) post-sale to ensure installation and service satisfaction, handle basic queries or coordinate with service team.
  • Maintain records of leads, customer interactions and sales in the CRM or sales register.
  • Stay updated on product features, new launches, competitor offers and market trends in the appliance sector.
  • Collaborate with the operations/installation team to ensure timely delivery and proper setup of appliances.
  • Handle any customer issues or complaints in a professional manner and escalate to management when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum education: 12th Pass. Any diploma/graduate is a plus.
  • Prior experience in retail sales (preferably home appliances or consumer durables) is desirable.
  • Good communication skills (Malayalam and English) and ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Strong sales mindset, target-driven, self motivated and confident in product recommendation.
  • Ability to explain technical specifications and installation requirements in simple terms.
  • Basic computer literacy (for sales records, CRM updates).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (including weekends) as showroom foot-fall may require.
  • Good presentation style, customer-friendly attitude and professional appearance.
