Sales Executive – Field
Role Summary
We are looking for a Sales Executive to own field sales with merchants and retail stores. This person will be responsible for identifying prospects, pitching Joud’s solutions in person, closing new merchants, and ensuring a smooth handover to onboarding and operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prospecting & Pipeline Building
- Map target merchant segments and build a focused prospect list.
- Conduct door-to-door and scheduled visits to merchants and stores in assigned territories.
- Qualify leads based on Joud’s target customer profile and revenue potential.
2. Merchant Acquisition & Closing
- Deliver clear, compelling pitches on Joud’s value proposition, pricing, and commercial model.
- Run on-site product demos (app, dashboard, payment flows) and handle basic technical questions.
- Negotiate terms within approved guidelines and close new merchant agreements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure documents, KYC and compliance requirements are collected and submitted correctly.
3. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitor offerings, pricing, and promotions in the market and share insights with the team.
- Maintain accurate records of visits, activities, and deal stages in Joud’s CRM / tracking tools.
- Prepare regular reports on pipeline, conversions, and field activities.
Requirements
Must-have
- 2–4 years of experience in field sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, ideally in:
- Payments / fintech / BNPL / PSP, or
- FMCG / telecom / other merchant-facing industries.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Comfortable with high-volume field work (daily store visits, prospecting, cold approaches).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; strong Arabic is a significant plus.
- Familiarity with using CRM tools and basic reporting (Excel / Sheets).
- Valid Qatar driving license and ability to travel within Qatar as needed.
- Experience working in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment.
