The F&B Sales professional is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of food and beverage products and services. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, securing corporate and social events, promoting F&B outlets, and achieving sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for F&B outlets, events, banquets, and catering services
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients
- Upsell food, beverage, and event packages to maximize revenue
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and walk-in customers
- Handle client inquiries, negotiations, and follow-ups professionally
- Ensure client satisfaction before, during, and after events
Event & Banquet Sales
- Coordinate with operations, kitchen, and service teams to ensure smooth event execution
- Conduct site inspections and client meetings
- Manage event bookings, function sheets, and payment follow-ups
Marketing & Promotion
· Promote F&B outlets, special menus, seasonal promotions, and events
- Participate in sales calls, networking events, and trade shows
- Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional campaigns
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate sales records and client databases
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- At least three (3) years of experience in F&B sales, hospitality sales, or related roles; experience in hotel, restaurant, or catering sales is preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Sales-driven mindset with strong closing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM systems
Working Conditions:
