Sales Executive – IoT & Smart Solutions

Role Overview

  • We are looking for a Sales Executive who can hunt, pitch, close, and grow accounts in IoT, fleet, smart city, and enterprise solutions.
  • This is a field + consultative sales role, not a desk-only job.
  • You’ll work closely with the technical team, so basic technical understanding is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in:
  • Fleet & vehicle tracking
  • Smart city / smart parks
  • IoT sensors & platforms
  • Enterprise & government projects
  • Meet clients, understand requirements, and propose complete solutions

Prepare and present:

  • Proposals
  • Quotations
  • Technical-commercial comparisons
  • Coordinate with engineering for solution design and costing

Manage the full sales cycle:

  • Lead → Demo → Proposal → Negotiation → Closure
  • Follow up on payments, renewals, and upselling opportunities
  • Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to explain technical solutions in simple business language
  • Technical Understanding (Must-Have)

You don’t need to code—but you must understand:

  • GPS tracking & fleet systems
  • IoT platforms & dashboards
  • LoRaWAN / 4G / sensors (high-level)
  • Basic networking concepts
  • SaaS and subscription-based pricing models
