Logistics Sales Consultant
As a Logistics Sales Executive, you will play a vital role in driving business growth by acquiring new clients and expanding the customer base within the logistics and transportation industries. - Identify and target potential clients within the logistics and transportation sector.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, and prospecting.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations to showcase company services.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Identify growth opportunities and market trends to stay ahead of competitors.
- Offer logistics solutions that meet clients' transportation, warehousing, and supply chain needs.
- Customize proposals based on client requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
- Prepare and present proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide feedback from clients to improve processes and customer experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in logistics and transportation.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and activity reports.
- Analyze sales data to track performance and identify opportunities.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand the client network.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with clients, addressing concerns and providing excellent customer service.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Sales Executive or in a similar sales role within the logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, and supply chain concepts.
- Excellent sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Effective communication and presentation skills for client interactions.
- Results-oriented mindset and ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Adaptability to changing market conditions and customer needs.
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures is advantageous.
- Problem-solving skills and strategic thinking for solution-based selling.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic is beneficial.
