Job Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for welcoming and assisting showroom customers, promoting and selling motor and marine products, and providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process. The role involves understanding customer needs, presenting suitable products, preparing quotations and sales documents, following up on inquiries, and maintaining strong customer relationships to achieve sales targets and support business growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist walk-in customers in the showroom, understanding their needs and recommending suitable motor and marine products.
- Promote and sell products such as motorcycles, marine equipment, boats, engines, accessories, and related items.
- Provide detailed product information, specifications, pricing, availability, and after-sales service details to customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain key features, benefits, and usage where required.
- Follow up with potential customers through phone calls, messages, and referrals to convert inquiries into sales.
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare quotations, sales proposals, invoices, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines in line with company policies.
- Coordinate with the operations, service, and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery, registration, installation, or handover of products.
- Maintain accurate records of customer inquiries, sales activities, follow-ups, and showroom visits.
- Monitor showroom stock levels, product displays, and promotional materials to ensure the showroom is well-presented and updated.
- Support marketing and promotional activities, including showroom campaigns, events, exhibitions, and product launches.
- Stay updated on motor and marine industry trends, competitor offerings, customer preferences, and market demand.
- Provide regular feedback to management on customer inquiries, sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in showroom sales, retail sales, or a similar customer-facing sales role.
- Previous experience in the motor and marine industry is required/preferred.
- Strong knowledge of motor and marine products, accessories, engines, boats, motorcycles, or related equipment is an advantage.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Ability to prepare quotations, sales proposals, invoices, and related sales documents.
- Good follow-up skills and ability to maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
