The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations, staff, and customer service on the shop floor for the lehenga, saree, and salwar segment. They ensure a smooth and efficient shopping experience while meeting sales targets and maintaining high product quality and display standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Customer Service:
Greet and engage customers, ensuring a welcoming shopping experience.
Assist customers in selecting lehengas, sarees, and salwars based on preferences, occasions, and trends.
Demonstrate excellent product knowledge, including fabric types, embroidery styles, and current fashion trends.
Upsell and cross-sell complementary products, such as accessories and footwear.
Resolve customer complaints and handle escalations professionally.
2. Team Management:
Supervise sales associates and ensure they meet performance standards.
Train staff on product knowledge, customer interaction, and sales techniques.
Create and manage employee schedules to ensure optimal floor coverage.
Motivate the team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
3. Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and ensure popular items are well-stocked.
Coordinate with the stockroom to replenish floor stock as needed.
Conduct regular inventory checks to avoid discrepancies.
4. Visual Merchandising:
Ensure lehengas, sarees, and salwars are displayed attractively to draw customer attention.
Organize the floor layout to maximize customer engagement and ease of shopping.
Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to implement seasonal themes.
5. Store Operations:
Monitor cleanliness and organization of the floor area.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.
Generate daily sales and performance reports for management review.
Maintain security protocols to prevent theft or loss.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to meet sales targets and handle customer interactions effectively.
Knowledge of traditional Indian wear, fabrics, and current fashion trends.
Proficiency in inventory management and retail software.
Work Environment:
Retail store setting with high customer interaction.
May require standing for extended periods.
Must be available for weekends and festive seasons.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Achievement of sales targets for lehenga, saree, and salwar segments.
Customer satisfaction scores.
Staff performance and retention.
Inventory accuracy and shrinkage control.
Visual merchandising compliance.
This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving the success of the lehenga, saree, and salwar categories in the store.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
