Sales Intern

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

About the role

Join our J Walt growth team to help win commercial fit-out and residential projects. You’ll prospect, qualify leads, support site surveys, prepare proposals with the design/estimating teams, and keep the sales pipeline moving—end to end.

What you’ll do

  • Pipeline & outreach: Research target segments (villas/apartments, offices, F&B, retail), build prospect lists, run outbound calls/WhatsApp/email, and respond to inbound enquiries within SLA.
  • Qualify & book meetings: Use discovery scripts to capture scope, budget, timeline; schedule site visits/showroom appointments; maintain clean CRM records (HubSpot/Zoho or similar).
  • Site & proposal support: Attend site surveys, gather measurements/photos, coordinate BOQs, quotations, and sample boards with design, QS, and procurement.
  • Follow-ups & conversion: Track proposals, handle objections, arrange demos/samples, and coordinate contracts, LPOs, and project handover to delivery.
  • Market intelligence: Map competitor pricing/offers, suppliers, and approval timelines (DM/DCD/Trakhees/DDA basics); keep a weekly report of wins, losses, and learnings.

What you’ll learn

  • How a fit-out deal moves from lead → survey → design/BOQ → proposal → close → mobilization
  • Basics of BOQ reading, finishes, MEP, and authority approvals in Dubai
  • Practical sales ops: CRM hygiene, speed-to-lead, funnel reviews, and revenue forecasting

Requirements

  • Final-year student or recent graduate in Business/Architecture/Interior Design/Engineering (all majors welcome if sales-driven)
  • Excellent English communication; Arabic/Hindi a plus
  • Confident on phone/WhatsApp/email; strong presentation and note-taking
  • Comfortable with Excel/Slides, and CRM tools; awareness of AutoCAD/SketchUp is a plus
  • UAE driving license preferred for site visits

KPIs you’ll be measured on

  • Qualified leads created and meetings/site surveys booked
  • Proposals issued and pipeline velocity (lead → proposal → close)
  • CRM accuracy and speed-to-lead response time
