Role Overview
Responsible for spearheading new business development across key regional markets, with a focus on companies in the Manufacturing Food sub-sector. This role aligns with the strategic revenue growth objectives of the Corporate Services division and operates as an individual contributor driving large-ticket B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities

Bid Leadership & Strategy
-
Own and lead the end-to-end bid process for targeted accounts and opportunities.

Conduct in-depth client needs analysis and craft tailored solutions in collaboration with Segment Directors, SMEs, and Functional Heads.

Build strategic relationships with CXOs, economic buyers, and key decision-makers to influence outcomes.

Develop winning strategies, compile P&L projections, and deliver compelling presentations that articulate the value proposition.

Negotiate favorable contractual terms and close deals to meet revenue and profit targets.

Opportunity Management

Evaluate RFPs and establish “Bid–No Bid” decisions for large enterprises and key clients.

Utilize CRM systems to manage the full sales lifecycle—from opportunity identification to deal closure.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with Sales and Segment Directors, and engage cross-functional teams (Operations, Marketing, HR, HSE, Procurement, Finance, Legal) to develop optimal solutions and bid P&Ls.

Ensure compliance with approval processes for high-value deals, CAPEX investments, and deviations from standard terms.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

Maintain detailed account insights, pipeline data, competitive intelligence, and forecasting inputs.

Participate in regular performance reviews and contribute to strategic account planning.

Strategic Growth & Alliances

Identify new business opportunities across companies and markets.

Provide strategic inputs to Marketing for offer development and enhancement.

Build and maintain industry knowledge bases and foster strategic alliances with relevant forums.
Key Requirements
-
Graduate in any discipline - MBAs preferable with 12+ years of experience in B2B SALES.

Exposed to the working culture in a B2B solution selling industry such as our own, or from the IT/ITES, Financial/Operational Car Leasing, etc
-
Working experience in Pune market

Ability to connect at the CXO and Senior Management level to sell complex / large value deals

Well versed with technology and computing skills

Ability to work independently, collaboratively with strong influencing skills

Good in numbers with an eye for detail

Must be willing to travel and have knowledge of the industry segment that he/she is chosen to work for, markets, geography, etc
