About the Company

We are looking for a sales manager in Africa to be responsible for the sales of Yaxing buses in Africa. This position is provided by Weichai Overseas Trading Company. The details of the sales manager's work will be reported to the African regional manager, and the general manager will be responsible for the final evaluation of the work.

Brief Introduction of Yaxing:

• As a core subsidiary of Weichai and SINOTRUK (China's Top 3 Commercial Vehicle Group), Yaxing specializes in manufacturing buses and coaches for 70+ years.
• Annual capacity of 20,000+ units.
• Operations in 40+ countries, including 25 African nations.
• 2 overseas production bases (North Africa/West Africa/Southeast Asia).

About the Role

We are looking for a bus sales manager in Africa to be responsible for the sales of Yaxing buses in the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage local dealer networks to achieve sales targets.
• Analyze African public transport market needs and propose customized vehicle solutions.
• Participate in government/tender projects, coordinating with technical teams on proposals.
• Establish localized service support, handling technical inquiries and complaints.
• Organize training for local maintenance technicians and manage spare parts logistics.
• Monitor vehicle performance data and provide feedback to R&D teams in China.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, International Business Marketing, or related fields.
• Or 3+ years of experience in commercial vehicle/mechanical equipment sales in Africa (degree flexible).
• Knowledge of African transport regulations & vehicle certification.
• Basic understanding of bus technical specifications (e.g., powertrain chassis).
• Cross-cultural communication ability (China-Africa business practices).
• Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to local infrastructure challenges.
