Sales Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead and expand our freight forwarding and logistics sales team in the Dubai. This role will be responsible for driving business growth, developing client relationships, and managing a team of Sales Executives to achieve ambitious sales targets in both local and international markets.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Executives, ensuring individual and team sales targets are met.
  • Develop sales strategies, KPIs, and performance monitoring systems.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team’s product knowledge, negotiation skills, and market expertise.

Business Development

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the global freight forwarding & logistics market.
  • Develop tailored solutions for customers across air, sea, and land freight, as well as warehousing and supply chain services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to maximize revenue potential.

Client Relationship Management

  • Engage with decision-makers and senior stakeholders in client organizations.
  • Conduct regular client visits to ensure service satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements in line with company policies.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure service delivery excellence.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, market analysis, and business reports to senior management.

Financial & Risk Management

  • Ensure proper credit control measures are in place in coordination with finance.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks in client transactions.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding & logistics, including 3–5 years in a leadership role within applying country.
  • Strong network of clients and industry contacts in the logistics sector.
  • Deep understanding of international freight operations, customs regulations, and end-to-end logistics solutions .
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and leadership abilities with a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Valid driving license.
