Position Overview
We are seeking a
Sales Manager
to lead and expand our freight forwarding and logistics sales team in the Dubai. This role will be responsible for driving business growth, developing client relationships, and managing a team of Sales Executives to achieve ambitious sales targets in both local and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Executives, ensuring individual and team sales targets are met.

Develop sales strategies, KPIs, and performance monitoring systems.

Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team’s product knowledge, negotiation skills, and market expertise.
Business Development

Identify and secure new business opportunities within the global freight forwarding & logistics market.

Develop tailored solutions for customers across air, sea, and land freight, as well as warehousing and supply chain services.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to maximize revenue potential.
Client Relationship Management

Engage with decision-makers and senior stakeholders in client organizations.

Conduct regular client visits to ensure service satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.

Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements in line with company policies.
Market Intelligence & Strategy

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.

Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure service delivery excellence.

Provide accurate sales forecasts, market analysis, and business reports to senior management.
Financial & Risk Management

Ensure proper credit control measures are in place in coordination with finance.

Identify and mitigate commercial risks in client transactions.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

8–10 years
of proven sales experience in freight forwarding & logistics, including
3–5 years in a leadership role
within applying country.

Strong network of clients and industry contacts in the logistics sector.

Deep understanding of
international freight operations, customs regulations, and end-to-end logistics solutions
.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strong analytical and leadership abilities with a results-driven mindset.

Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM tools is a plus.

Valid driving license.
