Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Component Salesperson to join our dynamic team in an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling electronic components to existing and new customers, supporting the procurement team, and working closely with engineering, supply chain, and contract manufacturing teams to ensure customer needs are met with high quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Promote and sell electronic components (active, passive, electromechanical) to customers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within OEMs and Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients and suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide competitive component pricing and availability.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable component solutions.
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients when necessary.
- Respond to RFQs (Request for Quotes) and ensure timely follow-up.
- Market & Supplier Engagement:
- Stay up to date with market trends, lead times, and component shortages.
- Liaise with component distributors, manufacturers, and brokers to source parts.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
- Internal Coordination:
- Work with the engineering and procurement teams to support component selection and sourcing.
- Coordinate with EMS production planning to align component availability with build schedules.
- Maintain CRM and sales reporting systems to track pipeline and performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (2–5 years+) in component sales, electronics distribution, or EMS industry.
- Strong understanding of electronic components (resistors, capacitors, ICs, connectors, etc.)
- Knowledge of supply chain dynamics and sourcing strategies in electronics manufacturing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and ERP tools.
- Engineering or technical background is a plus (e.g., Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related fields).

Pay: ₹15,019.76 - ₹59,738.23 per month
