About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead distributor expansion and ensure consistent growth through nurturing existing partners. The role demands strong business acumen, relationship-building skills, and a hands-on approach to increasing sales, coverage, and profitability through the distributor network.

Key Responsibilities1. New Distributor Appointment & Market Expansion

  • Identify, evaluate, and appoint new distributors in potential markets.
  • Conduct area mapping, competitor analysis, and gap assessment for territory development.
  • Ensure new distributors are onboarded smoothly with all documentation, pricing, and product training.
  • Execute sales activation plans to generate initial traction in new territories.

2. Nurturing & Growth of Existing Distributors

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing distributors to increase wallet share and retention.
  • Conduct regular review meetings to analyze sales performance, stock movement, and credit health.
  • Support distributors in secondary sales growth through retailer/dealer engagement activities.
  • Implement distributor incentive schemes and ensure timely communication and payout.

3. Sales Targets & Performance Management

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as per company goals.
  • Analyze sales trends, distributor ROI, and product-wise performance to recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with marketing and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain and demand fulfillment.

4. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Gather competitor and market insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales and activity reports with actionable insights.
  • Recommend strategies for product mix improvement and area penetration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
