Sales Manager

NOV Egypt is looking for a driven and commercially savvy Sales Manager – Downhole Technologies to lead growth across our rental-based downhole tools portfolio. This role is critical in strengthening key customer relationships, expanding market share, and ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient execution in drilling, completions, and intervention applications.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across assigned accounts
  • Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring exceptional service and responsiveness

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities within existing and target accounts
  • Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations and commercial proposals

Client Support & Relationship Building

  • Provide clients with product knowledge, technical support, and training as required
  • Resolve client issues promptly to maintain trust and long-term partnerships
  • Keep customers informed on new products, services, and enhancements

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Prepare regular sales, account, and market reports
  • Share customer and market insights with internal teams to support continuous improvement

Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations, marketing, product, and customer service teams
  • Contribute to team strategies, objectives, and performance reviews

Qualifications & Experience

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in sales within oilfield-related activities
  • Proven experience as a Sales Account Manager or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Field operations knowledge ( desirable )

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capability
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and customer-focused
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Arabic language proficiency required
