Job Summary
We are a newly established logistics company based in Jebel Ali Free Zone and are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development and sales operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of import & export logistics, documentation, operations, and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients and partners. Arabic language proficiency is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the company’s logistics business in UAE and GCC markets
- Generate new business for air, sea, and land freight, import & export services
- Manage key client relationships and maintain long-term partnerships
- Coordinate closely with operations and documentation teams to ensure smooth shipment execution
- Handle and understand logistics documentation including BL, AWB, BOE, COO, invoices, packing lists, etc.
- Identify market opportunities within JAFZA, free zones, and mainland companies
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and pricing strategies
- Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and industry events
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve client issues professionally
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in a logistics or freight forwarding company
- Strong knowledge of import & export procedures, customs clearance, and logistics operations
- Experience working with or selling services in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA)
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently in a startup or growing company environment
- UAE market knowledge and existing client base is a strong advantage
