The Opportunity
This position is based in our Jeddah field location within Abbott Vascular division (AVD).

Divisional Information

Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.

Role Purpose

To be responsible for driving sustainable sales performance, expanding market share, and ensuring consistent business growth within the assigned territory. This role requires a strong understanding of market needs, competitive dynamics, and customer behavior. The Sales Manager will work closely with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), manage key accounts, and work with the distributor’s sales team through effective coordination, collaboration, and strategic direction. Additionally, the role will support new product launches and the penetration of untapped markets in the western region to strengthen the organization’s competitive position.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, growth, and market share targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, key customers, and strategic partners (societies).
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer feedback to build business decisions.
  • Work with the distributor’s sales team to ensure high performance, alignment, and collaboration.
  • Drive the successful launch of new products, ensuring effective positioning and market penetration.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, business plans, and performance reports for monthly management reviews.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop plans for geographic expansion in the western region.
  • Ensure consistent compliance with company policies, commercial guidelines, and ethical standards.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain…) to support business objectives and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage key accounts and high‑value customers to maximize retention and business growth.

Education/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a medical, healthcare-related, or business administration field
  • Must have at least minimum of 3 years’
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation & selling skills.
  • Organization and Industry intelligence.
  • Analytical skills and territorial planning techniques.
