We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our retail sales team and drive business growth. Duties
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals through effective coaching and performance management.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with company objectives, including pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, stocking, and POS (Point of Sale) system utilization.
- Conduct interviews and participate in recruiting efforts to build a high-performing team; provide onboarding and ongoing training & development.
- Manage employee scheduling, shift management, payroll processing, and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by resolving issues promptly and ensuring team members deliver a positive shopping experience.
- Monitor retail math metrics such as sales per square foot, inventory control, shrink reduction, and budgeting to optimize store performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail home service management or sales management with supervisory or assistant manager experience preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence customer purchasing decisions effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, training & development, and leadership.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS technology, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and store merchandising.
- Knowledge of retail math concepts such as pricing strategies, inventory control, budgeting, and sales analysis.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment; experience with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus.
- Ability to foster teamwork through effective supervision of staff while maintaining high standards of customer service. Pay: $99,358.34 - $250,000.00 per year
