1st Class Medical is a family owned, direct-to-consumer retailer of portable oxygen concentrators and mobility products based in Parker, Colorado. We help people with respiratory conditions reclaim their independence, their mobility, and their lives. Our sales team is the engine of our mission, and we take both the work and the results seriously.

We operate a high velocity, high volume direct-to-consumer phone sales model that has been built and refined over decades of experience. We invest heavily in advertising, we generate strong lead flow, and we have a proven process that works. We are looking for a sales manager who can help us maximize our results.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is built for a sales coach and trainer who leads from the front. You will be responsible for developing both new and experienced representatives, running new hire classes, and providing real-time coaching on live calls. You will work directly alongside executive leadership and our strongest performers to learn our proprietary sales process and then teach it, refine it, and hold the team accountable to it.

The right person for this role is an experienced, confident salesperson who can expertly train and develop others. You will spend the first few weeks on the phones yourself: taking live calls, closing deals, and learning our sales process first hand. Ownership will work closely with you through that period. Once you have demonstrated that you can sell our products, you will move into full management responsibilities. That foundation will make everything possible: achieving the credibility to coach a veteran team, the knowledge to train, and the judgment to identify what the team needs.

We have a strong core of experienced, high producing representatives who are ready to be pushed to the next level. We also bring on new hire classes every few weeks. Your job is to maximize performance across all of the team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Live Coaching and Floor Presence

  • Listen to live calls and coach representatives in real time, providing immediate, specific feedback that changes sales outcomes on the spot
  • Step in on active calls to demonstrate technique, redirect conversations, and help representatives close deals
  • Identify patterns across the team and address them quickly, on the floor and in daily training sessions
  • Serve as a working resource when business is slow: get on the phones, diagnose what is happening, and report findings directly to ownership

Training and Development

  • Onboard and train new hire classes of two to six representatives every few weeks and drive fast time-to-productivity
  • Conduct ongoing call reviews, role playing sessions, and coaching for both new and tenured representatives
  • Build and execute performance improvement plans for developing representatives
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify team wide opportunities and implement targeted solutions
  • Continuously develop your own mastery of our proprietary sales process and coaching methodology

Team Management

  • Lead 20 to 30 commission-based sales representatives, including a remote Florida team and a growing Mobility division
  • Hold representatives accountable to performance expectations and sales standards every day
  • Manage scheduling, PTO approvals, and daily floor operations
  • Actively participate in hiring decisions and initiate performance management and disciplinary processes in partnership with HR and ownership

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of experience in sales training, sales coaching, or sales management in a high-volume phone sales environment
  • Demonstrated ability to improve sales performance through coaching, accountability, and hands-on training
  • Experience leading commission-based sales teams
  • Advanced knowledge of selling techniques, closing strategies, and sales coaching methodology
  • Strong technical skills and advanced proficiency with CRM platforms — HubSpot strongly preferred — and VoIP phone systems; you must be able to learn new systems quickly and use them with confidence from day one
  • Direct-to-consumer or high volume B2C phone sales background is strongly preferred
  • Ability to learn and teach a highly refined, proprietary sales process
  • Must pass pre-employment background screening

SCHEDULE, LOCATION, AND COMPENSATION

  • 100% in-office at our Parker, Colorado location
  • Core hours approximately 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM; daily morning team meeting at 8:00 AM
  • Occasional weekend availability required for sales approvals and time sensitive team needs
  • $100,000 base salary
  • Uncapped bonus structure tied directly to net revenue — the stronger the team performs, the more you earn; $160,000+ total compensation is achievable for strong performers
