Role Overview

The Sales Manager will serve as a strategic revenue partner to the CEO, owning the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed engagement.

This role is designed for a high-agency, high-output sales leader with 5–10 years of full-cycle direct sales experience. You are comfortable taking initiative, independently managing and converting inbound leads while consistently generating your own fresh outbound pipeline. You thrive in consultative, executive-level conversations and are confident selling directly to CEOs and Founders of startups.

You will own the inbound revenue engine while building additional pipeline through proactive outreach, ecosystem development, and relationship-driven prospecting. This is a consultative, impact-oriented role for someone who brings fresh ideas, sharp commercial instincts, and a killer work ethic. You value substance over scripts and take pride in building durable, long-term revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Own the Full Sales Cycle
Lead opportunities from initial outreach and discovery through pricing, negotiation, and close — with disciplined follow-through and clear forecasting.

Independently Manage Inbound & Generate Outbound
Take full ownership of inbound leads while proactively building a self-generated pipeline of high-quality prospects aligned with Numera’s ideal client profile.

Executive-Level Selling
Confidently engage, advise, and close CEOs and startup founders through structured discovery, financial needs analysis, and solution positioning.

Build a Strong Pipeline
Source, qualify, and nurture a consistent flow of prospects that fit our F&A profile to drive predictable revenue growth.

Ecosystem Networking
Develop and strengthen referral and partnership relationships with accountants, advisors, and service providers to create bidirectional referral streams that expand Numera’s reach and partner value.

Discovery & Needs Analysis
Conduct thoughtful, structured conversations to uncover business priorities and align Numera’s solutions to strategic goals.

Solution Positioning
Articulate how Numera’s accounting and tax offerings solve client pain points and create long-term financial clarity.

CRM & Forecasting Ownership
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline health, and deal activity in Streak CRM with executive-level visibility and accountability.

CEO Partnership
Collaborate directly with the CEO on strategic sales initiatives, commercial negotiations, and high-value deal closures.

Cross-Functional Alignment
Coordinate with delivery, finance, and onboarding teams to ensure seamless transitions and strong client retention.

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5–10 years of full-cycle direct sales experience, ideally in professional services, accounting, financial solutions, or B2B consultative environments
  • Proven track record of independently managing inbound leads while generating outbound pipeline
  • Demonstrated success selling directly to CEOs, founders, and senior decision-makers
  • Strong consultative selling skills with a strategic, problem-solving mindset
  • History of building referral networks and long-term partnership relationships
  • Brings fresh ideas, ownership mentality, resilience, and a strong work ethic

Work Environment

  • Remote
  • Standard office equipment required (computer, phone)
  • Occasional travel may be required for conferences (up to 10%)

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
