Sales Manager (Commodities/ FMCG)

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and manage sales operations for Government and Semi-Government customers. The role focuses on driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and supervising the sales team to achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities : Sales & Business Development (45%)

  • Achieve sales targets by effectively managing and motivating the sales team
  • Develop new customer accounts and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities and markets
  • Visit customers regularly and provide product and solution-based guidance
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments

Sales Operations & Business Support (35%)

  • Supervise sales supervisors and salesmen and monitor daily sales activities
  • Ensure safeguarding of company assets within assigned markets
  • Understand customer needs and propose appropriate solutions with management approval
  • Oversee accounts receivable and coordinate with finance teams

Market & Competition Analysis (10%)

  • Monitor competitor activities including pricing, promotions, and new product launches
  • Prepare market intelligence reports for management review

Reporting (10%)

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Assistant General Manager and senior management

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred)
  • 8–12 years of sales experience (FMCG background preferred)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, reporting tools)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong customer-focused and relationship-building skills

Job Type: Full-time
