Sample Job Description: Sales Manager – Corporate Gifting

Position Title: Sales Manager – Corporate Gifting
Location: Dubai, UAE (or remote + regional travel)
Reporting to: Head of Sales / General Manager
Role Summary:
You will lead the B2B sales efforts for our corporate gifting division — acquiring large‑corporate / institutional accounts, developing customised gifting programmes, and ensuring delivery and service excellence to support client retention and upsell.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets in the corporate gifting segment (employee recognition, client gifts, brand gifting, events).
  • Identify, prospect and close new corporate clients (HR, Procurement, Marketing, Events, Agencies, Government) and deepen existing accounts.
  • Build and manage an active pipeline using CRM, forecasting and reporting on sales metrics.
  • Prepare proposals/RFQs, negotiate commercial terms, customise gifting solutions to client branding and budget needs.
  • Collaborate closely with product/design/operations/logistics teams to ensure timely execution, quality, and client satisfaction of gifting programmes.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings and identify new product/gifting opportunities.
  • Ensure high levels of customer experience, service delivery and repeat business.
  • Possibly manage or coordinate a sales team or key account executives (depending on seniority).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (MBA a plus).
  • Minimum 3‑5 years (or depending on seniority 5‑10 years) of B2B sales experience with demonstrable results — ideally within corporate gifting, branded merchandise, employee rewards, promotional gifts or events sales. Foundit+2iimjobs.com+2
  • Strong pipeline generation and closing skills, negotiation ability, stakeholder‑management (especially dealing with HR, procurement, marketing teams). Adzuna+1
  • Familiarity with customised gifting programmes, multi‑SKU orders, fulfilment/logistics coordination is an advantage. Adzuna+1
  • Good CRM and reporting skills, comfortable with forecasting and managing sales data. Everyday Value Jamaica+1
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
  • For UAE role: Valid UAE driving license and vehicle may be preferred (especially if field visits).

Preferred Experience:

  • Existing network / relationships in corporate HR, procurement or event agencies.
  • Experience selling into government, institutional, HORECA, or international corporate clients. LinkedIn
  • Experience customizing solutions, managing budgets and margins for gifting programs.
