Sales Manager (Data Centers Server Team)

Details: Sales Manager Data Centers Server Team is responsible for generating demand, managing customer relationships, and driving the sale of server infrastructure and data center solutions. This role requires strong technical acumen, sales skills, and a deep understanding of customer IT environments to recommend appropriate server-based solutions and close deals efficiently.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT sales, preferably with a focus on servers, data center hardware, or infrastructure solutions
  • Familiarity with data center environments, virtualization, storage, and enterprise computer solutions
  • Technical knowledge of server platforms
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and prioritize effectively
Functions
  • Promote and sell server and data center infrastructure solutions to enterprise clients, system integrators, and channel partners
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead qualification to proposal development, pricing, and deal closure
  • Understand customer business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging server technologies
  • Provide consultative selling support and product recommendations based on customer needs
  • Work with technical presale to prepare customer presentations, proposals, and configurations
  • Conduct product demonstrations where necessary
  • Maintain strong relationships with key vendors and ecosystem partners to ensure competitive offerings and accurate product positioning
  • Support channel partners in driving server-based opportunities
  • Stay informed about new server technologies, market trends, and competitive positioning
  • Provide feedback to Product and Marketing teams on customer needs and market gaps
