Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our freight forwarding sales function. This role demands a strategic thinker who can build strong client relationships, drive revenue, and mentor a sales team while delivering measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth and market penetration
- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across air, sea, and road freight
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships with importers, exporters, and logistics partners
- Lead and mentor a small sales team, setting goals and monitoring performance
- Collaborate with pricing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and contribute directly to the company's bottom line
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions
- Represent the company in meetings, client presentations, and industry events
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding
- Strong industry network and knowledge of freight markets (air/sea/road)
- Proven track record in client acquisition and revenue generation
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently with a result-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in MS Office

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
