A Freight Forwarding Sales Manager develops strategies to acquire new clients and grow existing business, leading a sales team to meet revenue targets by managing key accounts, negotiating rates, collaborating with operations for seamless service, and analyzing market trends, all while ensuring high customer satisfaction in air, sea, and customs clearance services. This role requires a deep understanding of the freight forwarding market and experience in managing sales teams.
Location: Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Vizag
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement plans to meet sales goals, identify new market opportunities, and expand customer base.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Find, secure, and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their logistics needs.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a sales team, setting targets and monitoring performance.
Operations Collaboration
Work with operations, customs, and other teams to ensure efficient service delivery and client satisfaction.
Market & Competitor Analysis
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities to identify growth areas.
Reporting & Administration
Prepare sales forecasts, report, and manage CRM systems accurately.
Negotiation & Proposals
Prepare quotes, negotiate rates, and present tailored logistics solutions.
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement plans to meet sales goals, identify new market opportunities, and expand customer base.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
