Sales Manager – Government Accounts (with a VA Focus)
Product: FDA-Cleared Red Light Therapy Medical Device
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead governmental growth initiatives focused on the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense and other U.S. government healthcare systems. We are the leading Red Light Therapy Device manufacturer in selling to the VA.
This role is responsible for driving equipment sales of our FDA-cleared Red Light Therapy (Photobiomodulation) medical device into VA Medical Centers (VAMCs), VISNs, DOD, and other federal and state healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate has experience selling medical devices into the VA and understands government procurement pathways.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting VA and other governmental healthcare agencies
- Build sales through direct sales to the VA, VA clinical partners and direct to Veterans.
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, clinical demos, providing quotes and assistance with ordering.
- Create strong relationships with clinicians (Pain Management, PT, Rehab, Mental Health), Biomedical Engineering, and Contracting Officers
- Meet and exceed revenue targets while maintaining accurate forecasting

What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of medical device sales experience
- Direct experience selling to the VA healthcare system is a huge plus
- Strong understanding of federal procurement and contracting processes
- Comfortable engaging both clinicians and contracting officers
- Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills
- 2 years of CRM Experience
- Background in pain management, rehabilitation, physical therapy, or wound care markets is a huge plus.
