Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Sales Manager to drive our business development efforts within the technology and IT solutions sector. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT sales, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and the ability to build long-lasting client relationships. As an IT Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our IT services and solutions to businesses of various sizes, identifying new opportunities, and managing key client accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in IT products and services across multiple verticals.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and target new business opportunities, including small, medium, and enterprise clients, to grow the customer base.
- Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our IT products and services, including software, hardware, network solutions, cloud services, and cybersecurity offerings.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, clearly articulating the value of our offerings.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close sales deals while ensuring terms are favorable for both the client and the company.
- Market Research: Stay up to date with the latest IT trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to remain competitive in the marketplace.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the technical and product teams to ensure the solution meets client requirements and expectations.
- Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales performance metrics, pipeline status, and forecast accuracy to senior management.
- Customer Support: Act as a liaison between the client and support teams, ensuring any post-sale issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Sales Manager or similar sales role in the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of IT solutions, including cloud computing, IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and software development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with enterprise sales and large-scale IT solutions.
- Familiarity with the latest IT trends and emerging technologies.
- Certification in IT sales or related fields (such as Cisco, AWS, or Microsoft certifications) is a plus.
