Sales Manager - Power Generators

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth to achieve the company’s business objectives. This role oversees the full sales cycle, from market analysis and target setting to customer relationship management and performance monitoring. The Sales Manager ensures that sales operations run efficiently, maintains strong client relationships, and collaborates with other departments to support overall organizational success. A strong focus on leadership, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement is essential in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to adjust strategies.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Sales Activities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Develop and present proposals, quotes, and pricing strategies to meet customer needs and secure sales.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales targets and meet company objectives
  • Technical Consultation:
  • Understand and analyze customer requirements to propose tailored solutions.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations, presentations, and technical workshops.
  • Customer Support:
  • Assist with technical issues during product implementation and integration.
  • Provide training and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.

2. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Assign sales territories, quotas, and performance goals.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions.
  • Motivate the team to achieve and exceed targets.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
  • Oversee negotiations and closing of major deals.

4. Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports for management review.
  • Ensure CRM systems are updated and accurate.
  • Coordinate with other departments (marketing, finance, operations) to support sales activities.

5. Market Expansion & Business Development

  • Explore new markets, segments, and partnerships.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and sales pitches.

6. Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Ensure sales activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and ISO standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent technical background.
  • Proven experience as_ SALES MANAGER IN GENERATORS _
  • UAE Driving License is a must
  • Strong technical knowledge in Generators.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
