Sales Manager(Islamabad)

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Sales Manager – Islamabad will lead all sales operations for the Islamabad and KPK region, driving revenue growth through institutional sales, distributor management, and business development. This is a senior field role requiring a proven track record in educational or B2B sales management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy for Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and surrounding KPK territories.
  • Build and manage relationships with schools, colleges, universities, bookshops, and distributors in the region.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a small field sales team for the Islamabad region.
  • Conduct regular school and college visits to promote Kifayat Publishers' academic portfolio.
  • Identify and onboard new institutional clients and distribution partners.
  • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to Head Office management.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence on curriculum changes and competitor publications.
  • Coordinate with Head Office for order fulfilment, promotional materials, and sample book dispatch.
  • Represent Kifayat Publishers at educational fairs, exhibitions, and curriculum board events in Islamabad.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's in Business/Education preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Prior experience in educational publishing, textbook sales, or institutional sales is strongly preferred.
  • Well-established contacts with schools, colleges, and educational institutions in Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
  • Own conveyance is required for field visits.

  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to work under sales targets.
  • Strong verbal communication skills in Urdu and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM reporting tools.
