ROLE OVERVIEW
The Sales Manager – Islamabad will lead all sales operations for the Islamabad and KPK region, driving revenue growth through institutional sales, distributor management, and business development. This is a senior field role requiring a proven track record in educational or B2B sales management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy for Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and surrounding KPK territories.
- Build and manage relationships with schools, colleges, universities, bookshops, and distributors in the region.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a small field sales team for the Islamabad region.
- Conduct regular school and college visits to promote Kifayat Publishers' academic portfolio.
- Identify and onboard new institutional clients and distribution partners.
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to Head Office management.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence on curriculum changes and competitor publications.
- Coordinate with Head Office for order fulfilment, promotional materials, and sample book dispatch.
- Represent Kifayat Publishers at educational fairs, exhibitions, and curriculum board events in Islamabad.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's in Business/Education preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Prior experience in educational publishing, textbook sales, or institutional sales is strongly preferred.
- Well-established contacts with schools, colleges, and educational institutions in Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
- Own conveyance is required for field visits.
