About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven Sales & Marketing Executive to grow advertising, sponsorship, and event revenues across our bi-monthly B2B magazine and industry-led conferences and awards. The role combines consultative sales with strategic marketing support, focused on building long-term relationships with brands, advertisers, and industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive advertising sales for the bi-monthly B2B magazine (print & digital)
- Sell sponsorships, delegate passes, exhibition space, and branding opportunities for industry events
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and outreach
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and upselling opportunities
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and customized media solutions
- Negotiate pricing, close deals, and achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Marketing & Client Engagement
- Support marketing campaigns to promote magazine issues, events, and awards
- Coordinate with editorial, design, and events teams to deliver client commitments
- Assist in planning and executing email campaigns, social media promotions, and industry outreach
- Maintain and update client databases, pipelines, and sales reports
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
Market & Industry Insights
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and advertiser movements
- Gather client feedback to help shape editorial themes, event topics, and sales strategies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Media, or a related field
- Proven experience in B2B sales, media sales, advertising, or events
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers and industry professionals
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience is an advantage
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling print/digital media, sponsorships, or conference solutions
- Exposure to B2B publications, trade magazines, or industry events
- Understanding of content-led and solution-based selling
