About Dance4Healing

Dance4Healing is an award-winning, NIH-funded social impact startup building a patented AI telehealth platform that leverages Arts & Health practices (music, dance, and creative movement) to reduce isolation, improve mental and physical health, and make healthy habits accessible, supportive, and fun.

Inspired by founder Amy Li’s recovery from Stage IV cancer, Dance4Healing serves older adults, caregivers, and people living with chronic disease. Our work is informed by training and collaborations connected to Stanford University and Harvard Medical School, and supported through NIH-funded research initiatives.

Our social impact and business model is grounded in Oxford Mutual Value Labs, an executive program at the University of Oxford focused on building ventures that create shared value across communities, institutions, and markets. This framework shapes how we design storytelling, partnerships, and growth strategies for long-term, scalable impact—not short-term engagement.

This is a 100% remote internship with an international cohort of students and early-career professionals.

Why This Internship Is Different

This is not a traditional marketing or sales internship.

In addition to hands-on work, interns receive:

  • Communication and leadership training
  • Structured accountability and goal-setting
  • Mentorship and coaching from experienced founders, researchers, and operators
  • Exposure to real NIH-funded health and media initiatives
  • Experience building mission-driven growth strategies—not vanity metrics

Generative AI & Vibecoding Exposure

Interns gain exposure to Generative AI, content automation, and vibecoding concepts, informed by the founder’s participation in Stanford’s AI & Longevity Lab. Training explores how GenAI can support ethical storytelling, audience engagement, and scalable impact—without sacrificing authenticity or trust.

Structured, High-Accountability Program

The internship follows a clear weekly structure with defined milestones, focused co-working sessions, and regular progress check-ins. Interns set goals, track outcomes, and practice professional accountability—skills essential for leadership roles in startups and mission-driven organizations.

Cohort & Buddy Support Model

Interns join a global cohort and are paired with an accountability buddy to support consistency, communication, and growth. This mirrors how high-performing startup and research teams operate in real-world environments.

What You’ll Work On

As a Media, Marketing & Business Intern, you may:

  • Co-create content and storytelling for digital media, social platforms, and thought leadership initiatives
  • Support go-to-market strategies for mission-driven products and programs (B2B & B2C)
  • Assist with audience development, partnerships, and community engagement
  • Help design campaigns, funnels, and outreach strategies aligned with values and impact
  • Contribute to sales enablement, client communication, and relationship-building efforts
  • Participate in demos, presentations, and documentation to build professional communication skills

Focus areas may include:
Content strategy, storytelling, social media, partnerships, ethical marketing, community growth, and light business development support.

This role does not focus on cold calling, spam outreach, or transactional sales tactics. Emphasis is on ethical storytelling, relationship-building, and mission-aligned growth.

You are not expected to have prior sales or marketing experience—this is a learning-forward environment designed to help you grow through real responsibility and support.

  • Enjoy purpose-driven storytelling and ethical influence

  • Are energized by impact, creativity, and collaboration
