Sales & Merchant Onboarding Representative

Key Responsibilities:
-Merchant Acquisition: Proactively identify and pitch to businesses (retail, F&B, services) to join our app ecosystem.
-End-to-End Onboarding: Manage the full merchant lifecycle—from initial documentation and contract signing to account activation and live status.
-Channel Installation: Physically or remotely set up app channels, merchant dashboards, and POS integrations at partner locations.
-Merchant Training: Conduct on-site training for business owners and staff on how to use the merchant app, manage orders, and interpret sales data.
-Account Growth: Monitor the performance of newly onboarded merchants during the "incubation" phase (first 30–60 days) to ensure high engagement and troubleshooting support.
-Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor activities (like Foodpanda, GoLootlo, or Bykea) to refine our value proposition and pitch.

Technical & Professional Skills:
-Experience: 2-4 years of experience in Field Sales or Merchant Acquisition, specifically within the app/e-commerce industry (e.g., Foodpanda, Golootlo, Careem, or Fintech wallets).
-Tech-Savviness: Ability to troubleshoot basic app installation issues and explain digital dashboard metrics to non-technical business owners.
-Negotiation: Proven ability to close deals and handle objections regarding commission structures or platform fees.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the local market geography and business hubs.
Communication: Fluent in local languages and English (both verbal and written).
Ownership: A "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude; you don't just sign the deal, you make sure the app works on the merchant's phone before you leave.
