Sales officer/executive play a crucial role in driving business growth, building client relationships, and promoting sustainable waste management solutions. His/her responsibilities are tailored to the unique demands of the industry, which include waste collection, recycling, disposal, and environmental services
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients, including businesses, municipalities, and industrial facilities, to offer waste management service
- Develop strategies to expand the customer base and increase market share.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors in the waste management industry.
- Promote waste management services such as waste collection, recycling, hazardous waste disposal, and composting.
- Educate clients on the benefits of sustainable waste management practices and compliance with environmental regulation
- Highlight cost-effective and eco-friendly solutions to meet client needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and service-related issues promptly.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure clients are satisfied with the services provided.
- Assess client needs and recommend tailored waste management plans.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that align with client requirements and regulatory standards.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the organization.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
- Track sales activities and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations related to waste management.
- Ensure that clients are informed about compliance requirements and that services adhere to legal standards.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements with clients.
- Ensure terms and conditions are favorable for both the client and the company.
- Work closely with operations, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide feedback from clients to improve service offerings.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, environmental science, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience in sales, preferably in the waste management, environmental services,
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding waste management processes, recycling technologies, and environmental regulations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively pitch services and build relationships. Arabic speaking is an advantage.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address client needs and provide effective solutions.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM/SAP software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.
- Sustainability Awareness: Passion for environmental sustainability and promoting eco-friendly practices.
