Sales officer / Executive ( Transport or Waste Management Exp )

Doha, Qatar

Sales officer/executive play a crucial role in driving business growth, building client relationships, and promoting sustainable waste management solutions. His/her responsibilities are tailored to the unique demands of the industry, which include waste collection, recycling, disposal, and environmental services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients, including businesses, municipalities, and industrial facilities, to offer waste management service
  • Develop strategies to expand the customer base and increase market share.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors in the waste management industry.
  • Promote waste management services such as waste collection, recycling, hazardous waste disposal, and composting.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of sustainable waste management practices and compliance with environmental regulation
  • Highlight cost-effective and eco-friendly solutions to meet client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and service-related issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure clients are satisfied with the services provided.
  • Assess client needs and recommend tailored waste management plans.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that align with client requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the organization.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
  • Track sales activities and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations related to waste management.
  • Ensure that clients are informed about compliance requirements and that services adhere to legal standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements with clients.
  • Ensure terms and conditions are favorable for both the client and the company.
  • Work closely with operations, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide feedback from clients to improve service offerings.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, environmental science, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Prior experience in sales, preferably in the waste management, environmental services,
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding waste management processes, recycling technologies, and environmental regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively pitch services and build relationships. Arabic speaking is an advantage.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts and close deals.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address client needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM/SAP software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.
  • Sustainability Awareness: Passion for environmental sustainability and promoting eco-friendly practices.

Applicants must be currently based in Qatar with an NOC (No Objection Certificate) and be available to join immediately.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Sales Executive in Waste Management: 5 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Required)
  • Arabic (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Qatar Driving License (Required)
