Sales Operations Coordinator

Join us the DataServ/xFact as our next Sales Operations Coordinator. You will support the Sales team throughout the pre-sales process while collaborating closely with both Sales and Operations to ensure alignment between customer needs and internal capabilities. Applicants must be detail oriented, a self-starter, and have a drive for providing relevant solutions and exceptional service. This role requires a versatile individual who can work collaboratively with the internal team, customers, and vendors to support pre-sales Initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Customer relationship management:

    • Participate in customer sales calls and status meetings to document and track next steps
    • Act as a liaison between customer, sales and project teams
  • Internal systems activity:

    • Support sales quote process from request to delivery
    • Review quotes for accuracy, consistency and profitability
    • Maintain quality data in systems to analyze for reports
    • Maintain documentation for quarterly quota objectives
    • Developing processes, implementing effective workflow and embracing best practices
    • Processing both customer purchase orders and internal projects
  • Communicate with both distributors and manufacturers, including engaging with manufacturers on sales discounts and partnership activities
  • Assist with marketing efforts
  • Coordinate conference activities
  • Represent the company in a positive manner to colleagues, customer base and vendors
  • Become familiar with company policies and procedures, updating documentation when needed
  • Lead by example, inspiring other team members and being a supportive team member to others
  • Innovate and be open to change, actively researching new technologies
  • Provide redundancy and backup support for other team members
  • All other duties as assigned

What we require:

  • Education:

    • Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree., or related professional experience in sales support
  • Experience:

    • Five years of experience in sales support, internal sales activity or administration and support
    • Experience in Accounting / Finance preferred
  • Skills:

    • Experience with CRM applications
    • Strong Microsoft Office capabilities (including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
    • Experience with technology manufacturers (e.g., Cisco, Arista, Fortinet, HPE, Microsoft, Dell, Lenovo) preferred
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Additional proficiencies we seek:

    • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both collaborative team and customer-facing environments
    • Availability to work nights and weekends as needed
    • Candidates are required to complete a drug test and background check
