Duties

  • Actively pursue new business opportunities through outside sales efforts, including cold calling and lead generation
  • Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase solutions tailored to client needs
  • Develop and execute territory management plans to maximize sales coverage and market penetration
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals with a focus on customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Identify upselling opportunities to increase revenue within existing accounts
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and territory performance for analysis

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, or technology sales with a focus on direct or territory sales
  • Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Expertise in lead generation strategies
  • Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for pipeline management
  • Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer-centric approach
  • Ability to deliver compelling product demos and technical sales presentations
  • Effective communication skills for inside sales calls, face-to-face meetings, and team collaboration
  • Knowledge of retail sales environments, marketing principles, and territory management best practices
  • Demonstrated ability in cold calling, upselling, and closing complex deals with B2B clients
  • Strong customer service orientation with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving
