Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including wholesalers, retailers, jewellers, investors, and corporate buyers.
- Promote and sell gold products such as bullion bars, coins, jewellery, scrap gold, and investment-grade metals.
- Monitor daily market prices, global gold trends, and competitor activity to support pricing strategies and advise clients.
- Identify new business opportunities, prospect potential clients, and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and product presentations.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts within company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market updates.
- Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, finance, logistics, production) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to expand market presence.
- Ensure compliance with anti‑money laundering (AML) regulations and proper documentation for precious metals trading.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience (2–5+ years) in gold trading, precious metals sales, jewellery sales, or bullion brokerage.
- Strong understanding of gold purity standards, pricing formulas (spot price, premium, making charges), and market behavior.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work in fast‑moving markets with price fluctuations.
- Strong customer service and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital sales platforms.
- High level of integrity and awareness of regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with wholesale gold trading or B2B markets.
- Connections within the jewellery, bullion, or financial investment industries.
- Multilingual abilities (Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, or regional languages) are an advantage.
- Background in finance, business, or metals trading.
