Sales Representative / Customer Booking Specialist Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Sales Representative / Customer Booking Specialist to join our mobile mechanic platform team. In this role, you will help customers get connected with qualified mechanics, answer incoming sales calls, follow up with leads, and help book mobile auto repair jobs through our website and CRM system.

This position is a mix of sales, customer service, phone communication, and platform coordination. You will be working directly with customers and technicians to help move jobs from inquiry to booked appointment. A big part of this role includes making three-way phone calls between the customer, the mechanic, and yourself to help confirm job details, pricing, availability, and scheduling.

The right person is comfortable talking on the phone, following up with customers, staying organized, and helping close booked jobs.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls from customers looking for mobile mechanic services.
  • Make outbound calls and follow-ups to customers who submitted job requests.
  • Use our mobile mechanic platform to message customers, review job details, and help move jobs forward.
  • Contact mechanics and technicians to check availability, confirm pricing, and help get jobs booked.
  • Conduct three-way phone calls with the customer, mechanic, and yourself to help coordinate appointments.
  • Help customers understand the booking process, service options, pricing, and next steps.
  • Fill out forms and update job information inside our CRM/platform.
  • Help with mechanic onboarding tasks, including collecting information, filling out hiring forms, and moving applicants through the hiring process.
  • Assist with payment-related forms and customer booking records.
  • Keep accurate notes on customer interactions, mechanic responses, job status, and follow-up needs.
  • Work to convert customer inquiries into booked jobs.
  • Provide professional, friendly, and clear communication with both customers and mechanics.
  • Help maintain a smooth process between customer service, sales, dispatching, and technician scheduling.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous sales, customer service, call center, dispatching, or appointment-setting experience is preferred.
  • Strong phone communication skills are required.
  • Comfortable making calls, answering calls, and speaking with both customers and technicians.
  • Ability to explain pricing, service details, and next steps clearly.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use a website, CRM, forms, and messaging system.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask between calls, messages, forms, and follow-ups.
  • Experience in automotive, mobile mechanic, dispatching, or service-based businesses is a plus but not required.
  • Comfortable helping close sales and book appointments.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to follow a process.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys talking to people, can stay calm and professional on the phone, and is motivated to help turn customer leads into booked jobs. You should be comfortable working inside an online platform, calling customers and mechanics, and helping coordinate the full booking process from start to finish.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month
