Sales Representative (Meat Distribution)

Company Overview:
We are a growing meat distribution company committed to delivering high-quality products and dependable service to our customers. We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Sales Representative to help expand our customer base and strengthen existing relationships.

Position Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining key accounts, and driving revenue growth through consultative selling and exceptional customer service within the food/meat distribution market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect, develop, and close new customer accounts (restaurants, retailers, wholesalers, and/or foodservice operators)
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through regular communication and service follow-up
• Present product offerings, pricing, and promotions in a professional and strategic manner
• Collaborate with operations and delivery teams to ensure accurate orders and timely fulfillment
• Track sales activity, pipeline, and customer notes using company systems
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities

Qualifications:

• Prior sales experience (foodservice, meat, or distribution industry preferred)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet goals and work independently
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally as needed
• Basic computer skills (email, order entry, CRM or similar tools)
• MUST be bilingual (English & Spanish)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,376.75 - $58,260.17 per year
