We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales & Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of analytical and scientific instruments while providing exceptional pre-sales and post-sales technical support. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and strong customer relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory by actively prospecting, generating leads, and converting opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product portfolio, including analytical techniques such as Gas Chromatography (GC), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Spectroscopy, and other laboratory equipment.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential and existing clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute sales campaigns, attend trade shows, and organize workshops.
2. Technical & Service Support:
- Provide expert pre-sales technical consultation to customers, helping them select the right instruments for their specific applications.
- Perform on-site installation, calibration, and commissioning of instruments.
- Deliver comprehensive training to customers on instrument operation and maintenance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions for service-related problems.
- Maintain accurate records of all service activities and customer interactions in a CRM system.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term, trust-based relationships with clients, including scientists, lab managers, and procurement personnel in various sectors (e.g., academia, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, environmental testing).
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Gather customer feedback to inform product development and service improvements.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field is highly preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in technical sales and/or field service for analytical or scientific instruments.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of analytical instruments and their applications. A strong understanding of the scientific principles behind the equipment is essential.
- Sales Acumen: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to persuasively articulate complex technical information in a clear and compelling manner.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot technical issues and offer effective solutions.
- Interpersonal Skills: A strong relationship-builder with a customer-centric approach. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, manage a sales pipeline, and schedule service appointments efficiently.
- Other: A valid driver’s license as the role may require frequent travel.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
