Sales Specialist

Join our team and help drive success and growth as our Sales Specialist for the Washington state region!

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Sales Specialist with duties aligned to and surpassing those of a Community Relations Director/Sales Director.
  • Achieve a minimum of 4 move-ins per month as the primary objective.
  • Collaborate with the current Sales Director as needed, taking on additional responsibilities such as securing reservations alongside their requirements.
  • Earn commissions in collaboration with the Sales Director
  • Ensure the community consistently meets or exceeds the monthly census targets as outlined in the annual budget.
  • Receive comprehensive tools and training from the Regional Sales and Marketing
  • Strong knowledge and experience in closing of sales to leverage independent, assisted living, and memory care communities.
  • Support marketing department through pre-sales process to post-sales.
  • Responsible in assisting the Community Relations Director on all aspects of increasing census. (i.e., call ins, call back, tours, resident paperwork, CRM inputting, reports, and outreach.)
  • Able to understand ratios to include; inquiries/leads, tours, deposits, and move-ins.
  • Identify and analyse the competitive marketplace.
  • Ensure that the community meets and/or exceeds the yearly budgeted census on a monthly basis.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • This position includes over 90% travel.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in the senior housing market selling and/or overseeing independent, assisted living, and memory care communities.
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • Tactical strategies in all avenues of sales and marketing to measure successful results.
  • Possess excellent communication, organization, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Work as an integral member of the sales and marketing team and participate in programs as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, and outlook).
  • Experienced in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases. Preferably Yardi.
